My newest Berkeley obsession? Everett & Jones BBQ on San Pablo, of course.
THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST BBQ I HAVE HAD OUTSIDE OF THE SOUTH!
And that’s saying a lot! It’s not much on the eyes, but when I see a shack-like building that’s absolutely packed, I have to stop. It was cash only, but after a quick trip to the ATM, the food was well worth the wait.
Their menu is basic- beef brisket, smoked pork ribs, hot links, or chicken.
It is a little on the pricey side for Berkeley ($14 for a dinner, no drink.) The portions are so big, you could split it… but with food this good, you won’t want to.
