Ahh… the beauty of spring break! For those of you no longer in school, solace yourself with the fact that you make money for all that work you’re doing while students pay to work. Some highlights from LA: A karaoke birthday party at Belmont on Sunday: so much fun- in LA, most people doing karaoke are actually singers, so no earplugs necessary. Followed by Soupplantation and Rock Mondays at Les Deux. Fun Tree and Reality Bites were playing, and will be there through the end of March. I really suggest going if you’re in the LA area. Great energy, good music, a laid back crowd, and good drinks: what more could a girl ask for? Check it out at www.myspace.com/rockmondays With 90-degree weather on Tuesday, I couldn’t resist laying out between meetings. Weather like that makes you wonder why people live anywhere else. Wednesday: Sweet Lady Jane: the best food you’ve ever put in your mouth followed by shopping in the sunshine. Now really, why not at least visit?!
