Spring Spruce Up

Who doesn’t want to improve their home!? The easiest way to add color and charm to a room is adding indoor plants.
Choosing the right plant can be a tricky situation- How much light does it need? How often should you water? Do you go with trees, flowers, or vines?
Even though my mom is a master gardener, the gene must skip a generation. Try as I might, my potted plants die faster than cut flowers. My mom swears by african violets, which apparently like abuse from people that forget to take care of their plants for long periods of time. They seem to be the only thing I cannot kill… they are kind of like those tetra fish that never die, no matter how long you forget to feed them!
